What is Load Cabin?+
Load Cabin is a trucking app built for CDL owner-operators. You log loads, fuel stops, inspections, and scale tickets from your phone; it turns them into IFTA reports, invoices, and a real profit-and-loss picture automatically.
How do I log a fuel stop?+
Open Fuel and tap “Log Fuel Stop.” Enter your gallons, the price, and the state you fueled in — that’s it. It’s tagged for IFTA automatically, so your quarterly filing builds itself. Takes about 45 seconds and works with no signal.
Does it work without cell signal?+
Yes. In a dead zone your fuel stops, scale tickets, and inspections save right on your phone and sync automatically the moment you’re back in service.
How do I add my truck or trailer?+
Go to Trucks & trailers and tap “Add equipment.” Enter the unit number, VIN, plate, and GVWR. Load Cabin watches your plate and renewal dates and warns you before they’re due.
IFTA & compliance
What is IFTA and how does Load Cabin help?+
IFTA is the quarterly fuel-tax report you file based on the miles you drive and the fuel you buy in each state. Every fuel stop and mile you log in Load Cabin is tagged by state, so when the quarter ends your report is already built — open IFTA and export the PDF.
Does Load Cabin handle DVIR inspections?+
Yes. Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your phone — every item reviewed, signed, and time-stamped. Defects can open a repair work order in one tap.
Where do I keep my BOLs, rate cons, and receipts?+
In Documents. Snap a photo or upload a PDF and tag it. Everything is private to your account and opens in one tap when a broker or DOT officer asks. Records are kept for seven years.
Money & billing
How do I see if I’m actually making money?+
Open Profit & Loss. It shows real revenue minus every expense you’ve logged, plus your cost per mile. The more you log, the sharper the picture.
Do I need a credit card to start?+
No. Every plan starts with 30 days free and no card up front. Add a card only if you decide to keep it.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes — two taps from the Billing page. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no phone call. Your records stay safe and exportable.
Can I run more than one truck or add drivers?+
Yes — that’s the Fleet plan. Create your company, invite drivers by email, and see the whole fleet in one place while each driver keeps their own records.
Is my data private?+
Completely. Your records are tied to your account and no other driver can see them. We never sell your data.
